Blooming Wonderful Décor Hire

 

I have had the privilege to interview my friend Stacey to tell us more about their Décor hire company. I hope you find her tips helpful in your planning process.  

 



1. Please tell us a little more about your company?

 

Blooming Wonderful Décor Hire is a young vibrant company specializing in vintage, rustic and eclectic hire items. Based in Somerset West, Blooming Wonderful Décor Hire caters for all weddings and special events in Somerset West, Cape Town and the surrounding wine lands. We  offer complete event styling services from full set up, design services, flower arrangements and take-down services – everything you need to add a blooming wonderful touch to your Wedding, pre-wedding party, and special events.

We are a young and creative couple who have a distinctive take on wedding décor.  Having recently been through the wedding planning process ourselves, we understand how stressful planning your wedding décor can be. Every couple wants to create the perfect atmosphere for their guests, however most couples don’t want or need the stress of designing, sourcing and planning the décor for their special day. We at Blooming Wonderful are here to make the process as enjoyable and as exciting as possible. We strive to provide a professional and friendly service, where couples can feel free to come into our showroom, make them feel at home, and have fun designing the décor elements for their special day.

We are Justin and Stacey Brebner, a newly married couple, and most importantly best friends and business partners, who love all things weddings, each other, beautiful décor, and most importantly making Brides and Grooms dreams come true. We want to help you turn your distinctive vision into a reality.

Wedding and event styling is more than just a job to us, it’s our passion and our life’s ambition to help couples have a brilliant, one of a kind wedding day. We are extremely lucky to work with remarkable couples who are as in love as we are, and we consider it a great honour to help couples through all the joys of planning their wedding décor.

We take pride in what we do, we also like our Brides and Grooms to have fun, especially because wedding are all about expressing your individual style as a couple. We love to inspire our Brides and Grooms to think outside the box when it comes to wedding décor.

We want to help you tell your love story; your wedding décor is one of the most important elements when planning a wedding. It shows your family and friends who you are as a couple.

 

 

2. What services do you offer brides-to-be?

 

We offer décor and floral styling for every wedding no matter the theme, size or budget. We believe that every couple is truly unique – this is why we would love to meet with you personally so that we can truly understand your unique vision, to make your special day as perfectly unique as you are.

How the process works is we start off with an initial FREE consultation, where we get to know you, find out what your likes and dislikes are, and how you envision your special day. This meeting is to organize all your ideas, and come up with a clear theme and feel for your wedding day. Then we create a mood board describing your colour palette, the textures you want to incorporate, pictures that express the look and feel for your wedding, and the flowers you choose to compliment your décor.

Once we know where we are going with the décor and flowers we will then help you choose between our Style It yourself option or our complete set-up and take down packages, depending on your budget. For the couples who have a more limited budget or for Brides who like to add their personal stamp to their weddings the Style it yourself is more suitable. If you are a very creative and visual bride, and if you like all things pretty? Then you need to book an appointment to come to our gorgeous showroom. We encourage our brides to get involved; in fact we even let you have free reign over our showroom. We like to encourage your creativity. Why not bring along some friends and family and make an event out of your décor planning. All our unique pieces are right at your fingertips, just grab from the shelves and have fun. Be your own décor stylist, and create your dream setting for your special day.

How our Blooming Wonderful "Style it Yourself " option works:

• Book an appointment at our showroom.

• Bring along some friends and family.

• Feel inspired in the creative surroundings of our showroom.

• Remember to bring all your inspiration, or log in to Pinterest in store to see all your favourite ideas.

• Browse through our stunning selection of décor items.

• Create your own mock table in store, our unique décor is right at your fingertips, just grab from the shelves and have fun.

• Place your order in store.

• And we will make sure everything is boxed and ready for your collection for your special day.  (Deliveries can be arranged) 

 

 

3. How do you incorporate the brides style with her budget?  

 

I think the most important thing is for a bride to be open an honest about her budget. We always try to stick within the budget given, and we have many options for budget conscious brides. I would advise for a bride on a very limited budget- with lots of ideas-  to get her family and friends involved. Lots of Brides may not be creative themselves but there is always somebody in their family with a special gift or talent. We offer a fantastic service where brides can come into our showroom and be their very own stylist. We give them free reign over our showroom, we are also there to help guide them and offer advice. Pinterest is also a good way to come up with creative ideas - just be careful as some DIY projects are incredibly expensive to do - and could end up costing you more.

 

  

 

4. What do you predict the wedding trend to be in 2014?

 

I think the latest trend will be old world glamour. Lots of Gold, crystals and lace. A very chic glam look - think great Gatsby. Still with touches of vintage elements but much more sophisticated and refined.

 

  

5. Are you currently taking on any exciting ventures?

 

Yes we have recently started branching out into wedding stationery. We will be opening an online store in the future where brides can buy beautiful handmade items to add a personalized touch to their special day. We will also have a range of DIY stationery.
